DECKING OIL


MEETING DEMANDS OF DECKING, FURNITURE AND FENCING

Osmo Decking Oils protect, maintain and beautify the wood surface, producing a smooth slightly satin finish which is extremely water resistant and dirt repellent. The microporous finishes are based on natural vegetable oils and allow the wood to breathe and helps regulate the moisture content reducing swelling and shrinkage, the finish will not crack, flake, peel or blister.

RECOMMENDED USE
Osmo Decking-Oils protect and maintain timber decking, garden furniture and privacy screens made of numerous coniferous and fine woods, e.g. pressure impregnated Pine, Douglas Fir, Cedar, Oak or Bangkirai - also suitable as a transparent color treatment of Teak, Eucalyptus and other fine woods as well as thermo treated wood.

Natural shade: UV resistant

007 TEAK / CLEAR
Clear: No UV resistance, the wood greys naturally.

014 CHESTNUT
Natural shade: UV resistant.

016 RED CEDAR
Dark: High UV resistance.
 
APPLICATION
    Finished surface in 2 days, 2 coats
  1. First coat thinly applied on raw (weathered) wood approximately 250 ft2/L. Note: Resinous woods and woods rich in extractives first need to weather off.
  2. Mistakes in the wet coating can be corrected up to 30 minutes after the first application.
  3. Drying time approximately 12 hours (normal climatic conditions, 72℉/50 % rel. humidity). Lower temperatures and/or higher humidity can increase drying time. Allow for good ventilation.
  4. Second coat approximately 250 ft2/L. (For renovation works, normally one coat on a cleaned surface is sufficient.)
  5. Drying time approximately 12 hours; see point 3.
